PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 R.C.F, Hussainpur is spread over 12.5 acres of land in the spacious environment of the R.C.F Campus. It has its own ‘B’ type building. It is a three section School situated in lush green environment. It has 25 staff-quarters also. The Vidyalaya has 36 well-furnished class-rooms plus 01 for Balvatika III. The Vidyalaya has 5 smart classrooms for making teaching learning process more effective. It has three Science laboratories(Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and an ATL Lab also which are well-equipped with scientific equipment and relevant teaching material. The Vidyalaya has 02 Air Conditioned Computer labs. The Vidyalaya is equipped with 71 computers and 10 printers. Junior Science laboratory for the science activities of class VI to VIII is also functioning efficiently. It has a well equipped English language lab with 25 computers for improving the linguistic skills of the students. Vidyalaya is having a well-maintained Mathematical Lab where students of junior and senior classes learn mathematics by doing activities. Mathematical garden has different geometrical shapes like Rhombus, Parallegram, Sqaure, Rectangle and Circle made of concrete. Activity Room is equipped with Charts, Models, Audio-Video systems and Musical instruments . SUPW Workshop is equipped with useful gadgets. Library is well-stocked and updated having a stock of 7000 Books , 09 Encyclopedia , a host of dailies, weekly, bi-weekly magazines. The library is also equipped with 10 desktop computers purchased under PM SHRI Scheme. By using these computers students can access online books and periodicals. It follows open-shelf system. The official records are computerized. The Vidyalaya has three photo-copier Machines also. The Vidyalaya has well-maintained extensive Play-Grounds for team activities like Foot-Ball, Basket-Ball, Volley-Ball, Kho-Kho, Badminton and Kabbadi along with Chidren Park . A well-maintained lawn with Botanical Garden and Mathematical Garden adds to the beauty of the vidyalaya. Sufficent number of Firego’ABC'(Multi-purpose) Dry powder type fire extinguishers have been installed in the building to save it from fire. First Aid Facility is provided in the Vidyalaya itself and Medical Facility is provided by Lala Lajpat Rai Hospital of RCF. The Vidyalaya has the facility of adequate portable water with sufficient capacity of its storage.
