BALA is about developing the entire physical environment of the school as a learning aid – inside, outside, semi-open spaces. It is about maximizing the ‘educational value’ of a built space. It is based on ‘how children learn’.
School is not just a structure or a building. It is not just a gathering of children and teachers. It is a special, indeed, very special place for children to learn and grow. It is a place that shapes their ideas, where they can reflect, question and share experiences. It makes them wonder and be creative. The responsibility of the school is huge. It must create an environment where teaching and learning becomes a joyful experience for both teachers and children.
