The National Cadet Corps, which has been active in the school since 2006, conducted various activities in the session 2023-24, which tried to add a golden green colour to the colours of the school. At present, the number of cadets registered in the NCC unit of the school is 100.
The battalion played an important role in grooming the cadets in the main activities of the session. In the office of the then School Associate NCC Officer, Second Officer Venkat Raman, Commanding Officer of 21 Punjab Battalion Colonel Shri Vishal Opal ji inspected the NCC section of the school on 29th November and advised the students to focus on the benefits of joining NCC and fitness activities. He also appreciated the activities conducted by the cadets in this regard. At present, the activities of NCC in the school are being managed by Shri Bhupendra Jaglan who has taken over the responsibility of caretaker. He had the good fortune of being a part of the Republic Day Parade in the year 2005 and in that too his indomitable courage of showing his valor in the senior division, in the
parasailing from all over India is commendable. He is the first caretaker of the school cadets who has received ‘A’ grade in the Republic Day and NCC ‘C’ certificate. He is conducting his work with full enthusiasm along with new responsibilities. On special occasions like school inspection, annual Krishi Utsav, Republic Day, Independence Day celebrations etc., the parade and activities of NCC cadets remain a centre of attraction and sight to behold. This year in February, the second-year students gave the examination for ‘A’ certificate, the result of which is also expected to be good like every time.
