PM SHRI Schools

PM SHRI is a newly sponsored scheme launched on 7 september 2022. The schools selected as PM SHRI school will provide leadership in their respective regions in providing high-quality education in an equitable, inclusive and joyful school environment. More than 14500 schools across the country to be developed as PM SHRI schools to showcase all components of NEP 2020.
There are lot of activities conducted under PM SHRI Scheme. Total Budget announced 80,37,643, out of this recurring budget is 40,04,786 and non- recurring budget is 40,04,786. First instalment received for the session 2023-24 is 40,18,824.
PM SHRI KV 1 RCF Hussainpur conducted lot of activities under the budget like installation of Desktop computers under digital library, smart classroom in maths lab, lot of maths kits and science kits purchased and these kits used by teacher for effective teaching learning process. In various places like Girl’s washroom. Medical room, Ladies washroom installation of vending machine and incinerators and how to use explain by the Nurse to the students effectively. A lot of exposure and field visit to students for different class in different places like Krishi Vigyan for updating the knowledge of vegetation, science city for updating the knowledge of science etc. A programme started Self-defense training for girls which help to improve confidence, self discipline, physical health etc. A lot of Hands-on activities done by the students with the help of outsource the experts. A lot of activities under hands on skill like Bottle craft, clay modelling, candle making, gardening, wall painting etc. It will help to increase fine motor skills. A lot of expert talks arranged by different resource person on Constitution, sustainable development, 21st century skills, adolescent girls’ education etc. which help to increase the knowledge of students. A lot of career counselling sessions have been conducted, psychometric test had also done by career galaxy to assess the capability of students and help to guide the choosing streams. Flexes should be displayed on the wall to explain the citizenship skills and knowledge of India. Establishment of Kitchen Garden, science circle and Math circle in the open area to enrich the knowledge “Where there is number, there is beauty.”. A lot of health camps organized by a team of doctors to promote Health is wealth- “Healthy kids, Healthy Bharat”. Vegetable and kitchen Garden have developed in the school ground in lap of mother nature. The overall purpose of above activities under PM Shri is to nurture students in a manner that transforms them into engaged, productive and contributing citizens.
